7 Places for Great Sushi in Mumbai

9 Apr , 2015

Sushi is something that always elicits a strong reaction from most people. You either love it or you hate it. Some cringe at the thought of eating raw fish, some lap it up. I myself acquired the taste rather late in life, having first shied away from it before Wowtables’ specially curated menu persuaded me to take the giant leap.
Before we begin, let’s get clear about the difference between sushi and sashimi. Sushi is not always raw sea food or other meat and more than that, it is about the rice preparation. Sashimi on the other hand is thinly cut pieces of fresh raw fish and sometimes other meat as well. Sushi is always rolled with rice, some preparations can have raw fish but there are other sushi dishes which don’t contain any sea food at all too.
