Whether you’re hosting a party tonight or attending one, you need to be armed with munchies and a bottle of bubbly.
So you’ve got the bottle sorted but what about those finger foods? Fret not, it still isn’t too late to whip up something in your kitchen.
Here are 7 appetizers that are easy to make, yet super delicious.
1. Yogurt Dip
A creamy dip on the side is a lot better than just the usual packet chips. Add some ketchup, mayo, chopped bell peppers and onions to yoghurt, season with salt, pepper and oregano and boom! Chips just got fancy.
2. Bacon Bombs
You really can’t go wrong with bacon. All you need to do is wrap bacon slices around Mozzarella cheese cubes and deep fry until the bacon is crisp and golden brown.
PS: Avoid gobbling them up before the guests arrive.
3. Pizza Fries
This one is for the extremely lazy pizza lover. Order in a couple of pizzas, heat them in a skillet until the base is really crisp and cut them into strips. No more wasted pizza crusts!
4. Cookie Ice cream Sandwiches
Buy some chocolate chip cookies (or any cookies that you like), top one with a scoop of your favourite ice cream and press another one on top. Roll the sides in colourful sprinkles to make it look like you really worked hard on these pieces of art.
5. Guacamole & Chips
Mashed avocados, fresh cilantro, chillies, lime juice and seasonings is all you need.
PS: Guacamole is healthy. So a few more beers will still not ruin your diet. No?
6. Mini Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Fruit Jam
Cause grilled cheese sandwiches are always welcome. Especially when they are bite sized and flavourful. Just add some fruit jam (we prefer strawberry) to your regular grilled cheese sandwich and see them fly off the plates within minutes.
7. Nutella Bruschettas
Who says no to Nutella? Add a spoonful of Nutella on baguette slices and garnish with chopped fruits and dark chocolate sprinkles. So easy, yet extremely sophisticated!
